Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our remote U.S. team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. You will work within an Agile team to deliver clean, efficient code and gain hands-on experience with modern development practices and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain software features and applications.
Write clean, documented, and efficient code in collaboration with senior engineers.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team stand-ups.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
Learn and apply new technologies and frameworks as required by project needs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (such as a coding bootcamp certificate with project portfolio).
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
Foundational understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Academic, internship, or project experience with web development frameworks (React, Node.js, Angular, Django, etc.).
Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases.
A portfolio or GitHub profile demonstrating coding projects.
