Role Summary:

This role sits within KloudStax’s internal engineering team and reports to the Director / Head of Engineering. We’re seeking a generalist Cloud Developer with strong backend development skills and intermediate front-end skills. This engineer will contribute to full-stack solutions supporting both internal tools and client-facing projects. Experience integrating with AI tools is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Development in Typescript / JavaScript and/or Python
Architect sustainable, reliable, and cost-effective GCP-native applications based on the unique needs of a customer
End-to-end development and delivery of the full-stack application
Quality assurance over your own work
Collaborate with AI/ML team on service layer AI integrations
Collaborate with Infrastructure team for advanced infrastructure implementation
Collaborate with Customer Engineering and Sales teams as needed to support scoping and estimation of new projects

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Full-stack experience (Typescript / Javascript, Python)
Strong experience with one or more popular frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, etc)
Ability to build aesthetically sane user experiences using existing design frameworks (Material, Tailwind, etc).
Experience architecting and building on top of GCP native features (Cloud Run, GKE, Firebase, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, etc)
Familiarity implementing CI/CD pipelines (Git actions, Cloud Build, Jenkins, etc)
Ability to collaborate across teams (PMs, ML, Cloud Engineering)
Clear written and verbal communication in English
Knows when to ask for help
Google Cloud Professional-level certification

Preferred:

Advanced Firebase developers who have built and deployed at scale and/or with breadth of exposure to the Firebase suite
Advanced knowledge of GKE
Experience integrating with AI features of Google Cloud
