Incident Response Analyst

B2C SaaS | Cheshire (Hybrid)

We are looking for an Incident Response Analyst to join a growing cyber security team. Reporting to the GRC Manager, you will support the organisation’s cyber resilience by maintaining and testing incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.

You will work closely with IT and business teams to ensure incidents are managed effectively and lessons learned are applied to strengthen overall resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and test incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
Analyse cyber incidents and document impact, scope, and recovery procedures.
Support post-incident reviews and escalate gaps in resilience strategies.
Collaborate with project and change teams to embed resilience into new developments.

Essential Experience

Hands-on experience in incident response, business continuity, or disaster recovery.
Strong documentation, analytical, and report-writing skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
Attention to detail and ability to manage complex plans.
General understanding of enterprise IT systems.

Desirable

Experience with Microsoft Azure (ASR and Recovery Services).
Experience with VMware technologies.
Familiarity with Microsoft Defender suite.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

Location

Cheshire – hybrid working (minimum 2 days onsite)
