DevOps AWS Platform Engineer (Kubernetes) - Long Term B2B Contract - Fully Remote - SC cleared

Amazing opportunity to join a UK Governmental sector client as a Senior AWS Platform engineer with proven expertise using Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS). Unique role will be a critical part of the infrastructure and platform development for the Client.

Contract: 6 month rolling (12 month project)

Location: Remote

To be successful in this role you must have experience in being part of an Engineering Team and Agile and DevOps best practices with a strong knowledge in IaC and continuous integration practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Deploying, managing, and configuring Kubernetes clusters in a Public Cloud environment
Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters using Amazon EKS
Design and maintain multi-environment Kubernetes platforms for development, staging, and production.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
Integrate Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines using push and pull based models for seamless application deployment.
Deploying and managing GitOps agents such as ArgoCD and/or Flux to automate cluster deployments is desired.
