We are now looking for a Regional Director IDF to join our team, reporting to the Managing Director FBL.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the overall management strategy and leadership for the Region to extract most value from the market and be responsible for the P&L results, achieving budgeted targets, executing business development programs and ensuring a high customer focus within the region.

Reporting to our Managing Director for FBL, this position supports achieving KONE's business objectives and contributes to ongoing development and business performance. You will lead your team to achieve the strategic, operational, and financial targets. In addition, you ensure that the region operates according to our KONE way of working and in a legal and ethical manner.

Key responsibilities:

Provide direction and leadership for the region creating and maintaining a high-performing business. Drive execution, customer-centricity, engagement and empower for results.
Oversee and implement budgets, plans, policies, and programs that will effectively enable the business objectives set by the regional Management team.
Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the unit management team level to develop and implement a business strategy that aligns with the unit/area/global organization's
Develop a team of high competence, engagement and efficiency to ensure sustainable profitability. Encourage growth & development; drive best practices and KONE culture.
Manage performance and coach employees.
Drive region to fully leverage the unit's scale and scope to achieve business results.
Monitor market and customer needs and feed them to unit/ area/ global level.
Manage and grow the relationships between KONE and customers.
Maintain a strong positive connection with the company's key stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement in service excellence (e.g., safety, customer centricity, high quality and efficiency in execution)
Collaborate with Regional, Area and Global colleagues for best practice sharing
Ensure compliance with maintenance business operating model and effective deployment of KONE Way initiatives.
Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making to develop and implement a strategy for maintenance business that is aligned with the organization’s overall vision and its current and long-term business objectives

What we are looking for:

Minimum 8 years of experience in leadership at Leadership level within a related business.
Experience in thriving within a matrix environment and aligning cross-functional efforts.
Strategic acumen: Ability to engage in conceptual thinking and demonstrate business leadership experience and skills.
Relationship management: Exceptional skills in managing both external and internal relationships, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to build and maintain business relationships at a senior level.
Proficiency in market research and analysis to effectively evaluate and capitalize on business opportunities.
Strong business acumen with a flair for identifying and developing innovative business models and forming strategic partnerships that align with organizational goals.
Strong negotiation skills and commercially savvy.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring clear and persuasive interactions with all stakeholders.
Excellent presentation skills and a great command of English and French.
KONE Business knowledge: A deep understanding of the KONE business environment and customers, coupled with solid knowledge of KONE’s products and offerings.
Personal attributes: An entrepreneurial, creative, and positive person with a team-playing attitude.
Min. bachelor’s degree in business, or Engineering – a Master’s degree preferred.
