DevOps Engineer - 6 months - Onsite - Wokingham
We are currently seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact technology team, supporting the delivery, automation, and operation of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms within an enterprise environment.
This role will focus on Azure cloud engineering, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps best practices, working closely with development, operations, and platform teams to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and ARM templates
Manage source control, branching, and release strategies using Git and Azure DevOps
Implement secure secrets and credential management using Azure Key Vault
Monitor system health and performance, configuring alerts for critical workloads
Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps best practices across the SDLC
Implement automated security and compliance checks within pipelines
Optimise Azure cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost
Troubleshoot CI/CD failures and deployment issues, performing root cause analysis
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates)
Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services
Strong Scripting skills in Bash and PowerShell
Good understanding of networking concepts (VNETs, Subnets, NSGs)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (eg Azure Monitor)
Strong Git and version control experience
Contract Details
Duration: 6 months
Location: Onsite in Wokingham (5 days per week)
Rate: £425 per day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP
