Role - Senior Project Manager ( Renewables)

A leading renewables advisory team is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support technical and commercial due‑diligence activities across energy storage, solar‑plus‑storage, and hybrid renewable projects. This role supports financing, acquisitions, and development by assessing project risks, reviewing contracts and financial models, and delivering high‑quality advisory reports for lenders, developers, and investors.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead technical due‑diligence for energy storage and hybrid renewable projects
• Review EPC, O&M, PPA, interconnection and supply contracts to identify risks
• Analyse financial models (CAPEX, OPEX, warranties, degradation, performance)
• Assess operating strategies, dispatch profiles, and market alignment
• Produce clear, concise due‑diligence reports and recommendations
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs to ensure high‑quality deliverables
• Present findings to clients and respond to technical queries
• Support proposals, client engagement, and business development
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements
About You
• Degree in engineering, physics, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
• 8+ years’ experience in renewables, energy storage, or technical advisory
• Strong understanding of project finance, risk assessment, and bankability
• Experience reviewing contracts and financial models for energy projects
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability
• Familiarity with European energy storage markets and regulatory trends
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Python/SCADA/cybersecurity knowledge is a bonus
• English fluency; additional European languages highly desirable
