Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst
Division: Chief Information Security Office (CISO)
As a global critical financial infrastructure, the protection of Euroclear information andassets is fundamental to the company’s business. Information Security is at the core of our services, firmly embedded in the management systems and processes of the company. You will be joining our Chief Information Security Office in charge of putting in place the required controls to adequately and effectively protect our information assets.
Please note that this is a permanent position, and we do not offer freelance or contract arrangements for this role.
The role
In your role as Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you'll be at the frontline of cyber defense — proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats through intelligence-led investigations and assisting with threat hunting. You'll combine technical skills with the ability to clearly communicate risk and impact to both technical teams and clients.
Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) is an integral part of our proactive and reactive defense capabilities at Euroclear. As a CTI analyst you will be a critical part of our wider cyber team's success.
You will work across the full intelligence cycle to help Euroclear respond and recover to security incidents and stay ahead of evolving threats.
Responsibilities & Duties
Produce and maintain threat assessments to provide a clear understanding of the Euroclear threat landscape
Maintain the IoC database tailored to the monitored environment and threats and ensure changes are pushed to the detection systems in a timely manner
Conduct analysis and research to determine the identity, motivations, relationships, targets / victims, capabilities, tooling and infrastructure of threat groups relevant to Euroclear
Provide intelligence support to incident response activities
Provide guidance and suggestions for hunt missions and assist in their execution as needed
Oversee the collection, collation and maintenance of threat and intelligence data collected from open and closed sources and ensure its credibility, validity and relevance
Increase effectiveness of the threat intelligence platform by fine-tuning its configuration
Use collected/produced intelligence to create adversary and campaign models
Act as a point of contact for intelligence requirements
Requirements
An IT or Computer Science degree (Bachelor, Master)
Experience / exposure with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources
Experience / exposure to research and analysis of large amounts of data. Experience with open-source research and analysis
Beneficial to have knowledge of malware behavior and techniques employed by attackers to evade security controls
Knowledge of cyber-attack/defense (i.e. Buffer overflow, DoS, Phishing, IDS, IPS, Firewalls)
Experience in developing threat intelligence products for technical and non-technical audiences
Experience in producing high-quality intelligence write-up products and briefings for a senior-level audience
Ability to concisely write about technical topics for non-technical audiences
Good English communication skills (written and oral)
