Enterprise Network Engineer – Korean/English Bilingual

$80–$85/hr (W2)
Role Overview
Red Oak Technologies is seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Engineer fluent in Korean and English to join a high-availability manufacturing network environment. This position involves collaborating with stakeholders, Korean vendors, and internal teams to design, implement, and maintain resilient, secure enterprise networks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise networks using Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms
Configure and optimize routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and EVPN
Implement and manage F5 Load Balancers, including iRules configuration
Serve as the escalation point for complex L2/L3 network issues, VPNs, and hardware failures
Ensure network security through IPSec, 802.1x, TACACS+, and firewalls
Support multicast technologies relevant to manufacturing (PIM, MSDP, Anycast-RP)
Lead network upgrades, migrations, and expansion projects with minimal disruption
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ISPs, and vendors on RMAs and escalations
Maintain thorough documentation: 8D reports, SOPs, diagrams, and incident logs
Mentor junior engineers and encourage best practices and operational excellence
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
Extensive experience with Cisco enterprise networking (Catalyst, Nexus)
Hands-on experience with firewalls and load balancers
Prior experience supporting Samsung Semiconductor environments
Advanced understanding of routing, switching, multicast, and VPN technologies
CCNP Enterprise or CCIE (current or expired within last 3 years)
Proven troubleshooting skills for complex hardware, L2/L3, and application connectivity
Familiarity with network monitoring tools
Strong ownership, urgency, and documentation discipline
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with Korean-speaking vendors
Bilingual Korean/English (required)
Must commute onsite 5 days/week
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large-scale manufacturing or 24/7 production environments
High-availability network design expertise
Server networking knowledge (VPC, LACP, NIC teaming)
Advanced F5 Load Balancer experience (iRules strongly preferred)
Packet capture analysis and SSL certificate management
F5 or Palo Alto certifications with 5+ years hands-on experience
Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and automation tools (Python, Ansible)
