This pivotal role combines your expertise in Data Analytics and operational knowledge within the Sanctions, AML, and KYC space to drive impactful solutions.

The Role

• Analyze data by writing complex SQL queries to identify patterns of false positives in sanctions screening.

• Create and implement business rules and exceptions using Fircosoft utilities to mitigate false positives.

• Design, test, and validate suppression logic for sanctions screening filters, ensuring optimal performance and risk reduction.

• Partner with Management and Global Sanctions Compliance to maintain governance and oversight of internal and external sanctions lists and alert monitoring systems.

• Provide crucial business support for reducing filter false positive alerts, implementing new rules and exception processing.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in SQL and Data Analytics.

• Prior hands-on experience in Sanctions, OFAC, AML, and KYC is essential.

• Proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract insights and patterns from large datasets.

• Familiarity with Fircosoft Utilities and experience in Fircosoft rule writing for alert tuning is highly preferred.

• Basic knowledge of VBA or Python scripting will be beneficial for rule writing and automation.
