12+Months Contract

Overview:

This role supports a new strategic initiative between two banking clients, enabling Huntington advisors to leverage Ameriprise products and services. As part of this program, Ameriprise is enhancing internal tools and executing a large-scale client conversion from Huntington’s current broker systems to Ameriprise platforms.

We are seeking experienced consultants to supplement the client team, with a strong focus on requirements gathering, system conversions, and UAT execution. This role will act as a critical liaison between business and technology teams throughout the conversion lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

•Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT to deliver business-critical solutions

•Facilitate discussions with business and technology teams to define and align on requirements

•Gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications

•Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and clearly documented

•Support system conversion activities, including:

oWorking with technology partners to receive and validate data files from the current broker-dealer

oLoading and validating data in test and file-account systems

oPreparing for and supporting live conversion events

oVerifying successful data transfer to production systems

oLogging, tracking, and escalating issues to the appropriate technology teams

•Participate in and drive UAT planning and execution, including test cases, scripts, and defect management

•Support implementation check-out and post-conversion validation

•Prepare and maintain procedural documentation, user guides, and operational manuals

•Identify risks, issues, and potential solutions; provide status updates to project and portfolio leadership

Must-Have Qualifications:

•Strong ability to listen, analyze, and document business and user-level requirements

•Hands-on experience gathering and documenting UAT requirements and executing test cycles

•Solid understanding of system conversions, particularly in financial services environments

•Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

•Financial services industry experience (broker-dealer, wealth management, or investment platforms)

•Experience using Jira for requirements, testing, and issue tracking
