We are currently looking for an intern to be part of our Global Mobility Services team, which is the advisor for HR managers, Finance departments… regarding the tax and legal aspects of their (international) personnel. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the GMS team and will collaborate with senior members of this team in our Ghent office.

Your tasks:

Support the team in research and preparation related to international employment structures and their implementation;
Assist with personal income tax, social security, and immigration compliance tasks under the supervision of a senior consultant;
Contribute to the preparation of Belgian income tax returns (resident and non-resident), assist with permit application files, and support payroll calculations and related documentation;
Help gather and analyze information regarding share-related compensation and assist in preparing documentation for payroll processing;
Support the team in preparing analyses related to salary packages and the Belgian tax regime for inpatriates;
Monitor updates in tax, social security, and immigration legislation and summarize key developments for internal use;
Collaborate with internal teams such as payroll and labour law by preparing background information and assisting with coordination tasks.

Your profile:

Master's or bachelor's student in Law, (Applied) Economics, Taxation, Postgraduate in Tax, Business Management, Accountancy & Taxation or Business Administration;
Fluent in Dutch or French and English;
Client focused with a hands-on attitude;
Highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, can solve problems in a pragmatic and qualitative way.
