Job Specifications

Cititec is partnering with a global trading business seeking a Software Engineer to join a front-office technology team.

This role focuses on building scalable systems and analytical tools that directly support trading activity and market decision-making. You’ll work closely with traders and analysts to develop high-performance applications in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs (Python preferred)
Build tools supporting market data analysis and trading workflows
Contribute to cloud-based infrastructure and platform scalability
Partner with business stakeholders to deliver practical, high-impact solutions

Requirements

Strong software engineering experience in a production environment
Python experience preferred
Solid SQL and database knowledge
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS advantageous)
Familiarity with modern DevOps practices
Trading or financial markets exposure beneficial but not essential
