Fully Remote (UK)

£45,000–£50,000 + 4% bonus + great benefits

Fast‑growing fintech organisation is expanding its engineering team, and we are looking for a talented Ruby on Rails Software Engineer. You will help build the next generation of merchant‑focused financial products.

What you will work on

Building and maintaining production‑grade Rails applications
Designing and integrating RESTful APIs
Working with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Writing automated tests to ensure quality and reliability
Collaborating across small, high‑trust engineering teams

Tech & Skills required

3–5 years’ experience building real‑world Ruby on Rails applications
Strong OO design + MVC fundamentals
Confidence with REST APIs, relational databases and automated testing
A proactive, curious engineer who loves solving problems
Someone who thrives in both solo and collaborative environments
React/JavaScript experience is a bonus — but not essential.

4% annual bonus
