Job Description
Are you looking further your career in automation within a supportive, forward‑thinking team? Join us as a Junior Automation Engineer and help ensure our automated processes run smoothly, efficiently and reliably. You’ll work with experienced colleagues, grow your technical capability and play an important part in delivering great outcomes for our customers.
What you'll be doing:
Administering and maintaining the environments that support robotic processes, including running processes, managing VDIs and reviewing logs
Managing and investigating process exceptions and production incidents, supporting timely resolution of issues
Supporting the introduction of new automations into production and assisting with testing activities
Providing operational performance insight, including MI, and continually evaluating the quality and efficiency of automations
Delivering small BAU changes and fixes to ensure automations continue to meet customer and business needs
Communicating with stakeholders and helping to manage expectations across the production lifecycle
Identifying and raising risks, issues and dependencies, and supporting the execution of mitigation actions
Ensuring compliance with agreed methodologies, standards and governance requirements
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
Experience working with digital or automated processes in a production environment
Understanding of automation concepts and Blue Prism
Good knowledge of core office software and confidence working with data
Some understanding of SQL and the ability to run basic database queries
An interest in or exposure to programming languages that complement automation (e.g. VB, C#)
Ability to work collaboratively within Agile or DevOps environments
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly
A proactive approach, with good analytical skills and a focus on continuous improvement
