About The Role

As a Test engineer, you work in our laboratory department, where prototypes are both built and tested.

You work closely with the product development teams, you design, test, and analyze new machines, components, and concepts.

This role involves designing test setups and programs, managing and ensuring their safety, and guiding laboratory technicians. You need to measure and analyze test results and collaborate with your team for continuous improvements.

You actively contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes.

Key responsibilities:

You work closely with the Product development teams to design, build, and test prototype machines and components. You are responsible for defining and managing test setups and programs, ensuring safety, and coordinating lab activities. You analyze test results and collaborate with the project team to optimize performance and resolve issues.

Plan assembly tasks for technicians and assist with prototype assembly.
Design and implement test setups, managing sensors during tests.
Program test conditions using our client proprietary software and run automated tests.
Knowledge Python and C / Basic programming skills.
Understand and troubleshoot pressure systems during physical testing operations.
Matlab is a plus.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with ideally a first testing experience, Someone eager to learn and proactive. Creativity and problem-solving aptitude are highly valued.

Master’s degree in Electromechanics or relevant experience.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Problem-solving abilities and creative thinking.
Hands-on mentality
Ability to work independently and adapt efficiently.
Experience between 0 and 2 years max.
Proficiency in English is essential, Dutch is a strong plus.
