About The Role
Akkodis has an exciting opportunity for a Power BI Data Analyst to join our growing UK practice, supporting engineering and delivery teams with high-impact reporting and data insight solutions. This role is focused on building, optimising, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data models that provide clear visibility of engineering performance, earned value, and project delivery metrics. The successful candidate will play a critical role in consolidating diverse data sources to deliver actionable insights that drive informed decision-making at various organizational levels.
As a Power BI Data Analyst, you will have a background in developing advanced dashboards and setting up databases for reporting. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, project managers, and senior leadership to understand their reporting needs and translate them into effective BI solutions. Your work will support the definition and implementation of KPIs, tracking mechanisms for earned value management, and continuous improvement of data visualization processes to ensure clarity and transparency across the organization.
Qualifications
Proven experience with Power BI development, including dashboard creation and data visualization
Experience in setting up, managing, and optimizing databases or data models for BI reporting
Strong understanding of earned value management and project delivery metrics
Ability to define and implement KPIs aligned with organizational goals
Experience working within engineering, software, or technology-related environments
Proficiency in data merging, integration, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of SQL or other database query languages is preferred
Responsibilities
Develop, design, and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards tailored to track engineering delivery and earned value metrics
Set up, optimize, and maintain databases or data models to support efficient and secure report publishing and data refreshes
Merge and integrate datasets from multiple sources and formats, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
Collaborate closely with engineering teams, project managers, and senior management to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective BI solutions
Support the definition and implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to accurately track and measure engineering delivery and project performance
Implement tracking mechanisms for earned value management and delivery performance
Continuously improve data visualization and reporting processes to enable clear visibility at team, managerial, and senior leadership levels
