IAM Analyst / Architect - Brussels - 12-month contract

One of our important clients is currently looking for a IAM Analyst / Architect based in Brussels for a 12-month contract. Day rate is negotiable.

We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst/Architect to design, improve, and support IAM governance processes.
You will define the IAM strategy and operating model, optimise Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML) processes, manage role-based access control (RBAC), and support compliance and audit requirements.

You will work closely with Security, HR, IT, and business teams and act as the functional lead for IAM-related tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Define and maintain the IAM strategy and target operating model
Perform GAP analysis and propose process improvements
Design and optimise JML processes and RBAC models
Support onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning and recertification
Analyse and validate user roles and entitlements (RBAC/ABAC)
Initiate and support user access recertification campaigns
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements (e.g. NIS2, GDPR)
Create reports to identify access conflicts and provisioning issues
Maintain IAM documentation and continuously improve processes
Act as functional lead for IAM, PAM, MFA, SSO and directory services

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in IAM process design and governance (JML, RBAC, recertification)
Proven experience defining or improving IAM operating models
Experience with: Privileged Access Management (e.g. password vaulting solutions), MFA, SSO, and identity integrations, Active Directory / Entra ID and IGA solutions
Strong understanding of identity data flows and provisioning principles
Knowledge of IAM integration protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
Fluent in English
Fluent in French or Dutch, with passive knowledge of the other

Nice to Have

Experience with automation and scripting
Regulatory compliance experience (GDPR, NIS)
Strong Excel and reporting skills
