Contract Opportunity

We’re supporting a large-scale data center and control systems initiative for a highly regulated organization. They are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to lead requirements management and support end-to-end technology planning within a complex operational environment.

This role sits within the Operational Technology function and will play a key part in design coordination, technical decision tracking, and ensuring alignment across interdependent workstreams as the new facility is brought online.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements gathering and documentation for technology systems supporting a new data center environment
Identify systems to be migrated, replaced, or decommissioned
Support detailed design development and ensure alignment with cybersecurity and regulatory standards (including supply chain security controls)
Track technical decisions, dependencies, and stakeholder inputs across multiple teams
Capture and validate space, power, and infrastructure requirements
Contribute to equipment room layout planning and future capacity considerations
Develop high-level transition and migration strategies
Clarify stakeholder roles, scope boundaries, and resource requirements

Requirements

Strong background in business systems analysis within large, complex IT programs
Proven experience supporting infrastructure, network, software, or systems integration projects
Solid understanding of project governance, risk management, and cross-functional coordination
Confident communicator able to present recommendations, manage competing priorities, and influence senior stakeholders
Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., utilities, energy, public sector) highly desirable

Background

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
5+ years’ experience in business analysis, systems delivery, or IT project environments
