Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Confluent Solution Architect to design, develop, and manage scalable real-time data streaming platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Apache Kafka and the Confluent ecosystem, along with strong experience in cloud-based deployments and event-driven microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform

• Design event-driven microservices and API integrations

• Deploy and manage Kafka clusters across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Work with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, ksqlDB, Schema Registry, and REST Proxy

• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes deployments

• Ensure scalability, security, monitoring, and performance tuning

• Provide architectural leadership and best practices guidance

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Apache Kafka (Open-source, Confluent, AWS MSK, etc.)

• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala

• Experience with event-driven architecture and streaming design patterns

• Experience deploying Kafka on AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
