Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Brussels for an Internal Auditor. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards. Key activities include evaluating internal controls, detecting risks, and recommending improvements. The role requires preparing detailed reports, collaborating with various departments to gather relevant data, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Audit Practices, Risk Assessment, and Internal Controls
Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
Excellent Report Writing and Presentation Skills
Knowledge of Compliance Standards, Financial Regulations, and Corporate Governance
Attention to Detail and the Ability to Work Methodically
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Experience with Audit Tools and Software is preferred
Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
Professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, ACCA) is an advantage
Fluency in Dutch and French, with proficiency in English
