Founding Senior / Staff Full Stack Engineer

San Francisco, CA | Onsite, 4 Days per Week

About the Role

We are building modern, AI-enabled infrastructure to replace outdated spreadsheet-driven workflows used by high-growth companies. This is an opportunity to join as a founding Senior or Staff-level engineer and own meaningful portions of the product from architecture through production.

You will work directly with founders and product leadership to design, build, and ship core systems that power mission-critical workflows for fast-scaling companies. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to help shape both the product and engineering culture.

What You’ll Do

Own end-to-end feature development from system design to production release
Architect and scale backend services using Django and PostgreSQL
Build and maintain frontend experiences using React and TypeScript
Design APIs and data models that power complex business workflows
Collaborate closely with product and design to ship high-quality user experiences
Integrate AI and LLM-driven capabilities into production workflows
Improve reliability, performance, and observability as the platform scales
Contribute to engineering standards, code reviews, and technical direction

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of professional fullstack software engineering experience
Experience at both earlier-stage startups and later-stage growth companies
Strong backend experience with Python and Django
Strong frontend experience with React and TypeScript
Experience building production SaaS products
Comfort operating in small teams with high ownership and ambiguity
Experience shipping features that directly impact users and business outcomes
Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and modern DevOps practices

Nice to Have

Experience integrating LLMs or AI-powered workflows into production systems
Experience building systems tied to analytics, financial workflows, or internal tools
Prior experience in high-growth or venture-backed startups
Exposure to authentication systems and third-party integrations
