Iris's client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire an Sr Mainframe Developer for a long term contract opportunity.

Our client is a Canadian multinational financial services company and the largest bank in Canada by market capitalization. The bank serves over 17 million clients and has more than 89,000 employees worldwide. Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.

Job Title: Sr Mainframe Developer

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Long Term contract

Must-have

Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 development.
Experience working with IBM z/OS mainframe environments.
Knowledge of VSAM, IMS, and batch processing systems.
Experience with IBM MQ / messaging systems for system integration.

Nice to Have:

Experience working in banking or financial services domain, preferably in payments processing systems (ACH, Wires, Real-Time Payments, ISO 20022).
