Principal Security Engineer (Product Security / AppSec / AI Workflows)

Boston, MA – Hybrid (2 days onsite)

Comp: $200K–$250K base + equity

Colossus Technologies is partnering with a fast-growing AI-native B2B company in Boston that’s looking to bring on a Principal Security Engineer focused on product security and application security.

This role sits close to engineering and product leadership and will help shape how security works as the platform scales. The focus is on securing modern cloud and SaaS architectures, embedding security into the development lifecycle, and helping design safe and reliable AI-driven workflows.

You’ll work on secure architecture patterns, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and building guardrails that let engineers move quickly without introducing unnecessary risk.

The team is looking for a senior security engineer with strong product/app security experience in modern SaaS environments, solid engineering instincts, and exposure to LLM or AI-driven systems. Ideal candidates have built or influenced security practices in high-growth environments and enjoy working closely with engineers on real systems.

Hybrid role based in Boston (2 days onsite).

Target base salary is $200K–$250K plus equity.
