We are partnering with a leading global financial services organisation undertaking a significant cloud platform programme. With a strong focus on security, scalability, and modern engineering practices, the organisation is investing heavily in building robust Azure environments to support critical business services and future innovation.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
Deploy and configure Azure Virtual Machines and supporting infrastructure.
Design and implement Virtual Networks (VNets) and subnet architecture.
Ensure network segmentation, identity integration, and platform compliance.
Collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure best practices across the Azure platform.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Strong experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
Solid understanding of Azure networking, including VNets and subnet design.
Experience implementing cloud security baselines and governance controls.
Experience working within enterprise or regulated environments is advantageous.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:
Experience working in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments (eg financial services).
Strong understanding of Azure security services such as Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and Key Vault.
Knowledge of identity and access management within Azure, including integration with Azure AD
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment (eg Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
