Are you a Cyber Security Specialist looking for your next challenge?

Do you enjoy implementing policies and procedures to support NIST SP 800-53 and NIST SP 800-171 audit readiness?

I’ve partnered with a leading high-precision contract manufacturer in the Aerospace & Defense industry who has an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Specialist to join their growing team on a 6-month contract.

As the Cyber Security Specialist you will support the planning, preparation, and implementation of policies and procedures required for CMMC Compliance audits in alignment with NIST SP 800-53 and NIST SP 800-171. You’ll be responsible for identifying and helping mitigate vulnerabilities across IT infrastructure, shop automation, and network security, as well as coaching end users on the proper handling and protection of Controlled Unclassified Information.

Required Skills/Knowledge – Cyber Security Specialist

Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and NIST SP 800-171
Excellent communication skills
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
7+ years of IT experience
2+ years of cybersecurity experience
Project management capability
Strong documentation and policy-writing skills
Ability to train office staff and shop-floor personnel on policies and procedures
Preferred: experience with general IT and security auditing
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
