About The Role
The Data Analyst at Spherix Global Insights plays a vital role in managing the development, collection, and reporting of market research data for various projects. This position involves working collaboratively with the Insights Team and directly reporting to the Manager of Data Analytics. The primary responsibilities include ensuring the integrity and accuracy of survey programming, analyzing data using statistical software, and preparing comprehensive reports that support client decision-making. Based in Exton, PA, this role offers flexibility for remote work for qualified candidates outside the local area. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the company's mission of delivering high-quality market insights.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in a related field such as statistics, data science, or business analytics
Exposure to and proven capabilities in data analytics
Strong understanding of statistics and familiarity with statistical software applications such as SPSS, Python, SAS, R, or SQL
Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint for data presentation
Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet objectives without routine supervision
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
Experience in a similar data analysis position is preferred
Responsibilities
Review and approve survey programming to ensure critical data elements such as piping and branching are correctly implemented for effective analysis
Collaborate with Franchise Heads to develop analysis plans tailored to each publication
Post-fielding, clean and format data for analysis, ensuring data quality and integrity
Generate summary statistics using SPSS and perform cross-tabulation analysis for specified data segments
Input and incorporate summary data into PowerPoint templates for presentation purposes
Respond promptly to client requests for additional analyses or data insights
Coordinate with Franchise Heads on ad hoc analyses that may be utilized in various business contexts
Maintain meticulous documentation of data processes and analysis procedures
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging analytical tools to enhance data analysis capabilities
