Platform Engineer

Duration: 6 months

Location: Seattle, WA - 2 days per week on-site

In this position, you will help build the next generation of Client eSignature Platform Services

for the Notifications and Settings Engineering team. You will build highly scalable, performant

applications and services in an environment with high availability and bank grade security. You

will be part of a team of great engineers focusing on delivering quality products, and services

that live directly in the heart of our customer’s workflows. You will be focusing on building

solutions that are intuitive yet powerful to meet the wide range of needs of our customers.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Software Engineering Manager,

Notifications and Settings Platform.

Responsibility

Architect, implement and maintain some of Client highest scale services
Build APIs to power the next generation of Client customer multi-screen experiences that are responsive, highly performant and AI driven
Help drive developer efficiencies through engineering best practices, automation, and CI/CD
Work with world class telemetry systems to work through complex problems and solve them with data
Guide and mentor other engineers through design and code reviews
Revolutionize Client core services and APIs
Think through how systems will scale and fail as they grow
Take complicated problems and break them down into bite sized pieces, then ship every few weeks to get there
Work throughout the stack, from network protocols to database performance and back Basic
8+ years of software engineering experience in high scale distributed systems
8+ years of experience building resilient and highly available web services
Experience documenting architectural standards and decisions
Experience in full stack development
B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred

Experience with languages like NodeJS, Java, and C#

Database experience, both with SQL and NoSQL

Experience with SaaS or Cloud

Experience with CI/CD
