Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year

The hiring process includes an initial screening by the TCS Hiring Team, followed by a technical evaluation and managerial discussion conducted by the Business Team, and concluding with the final HR evaluation.
Role Description:
• Develop and enhance Java-based microservices (Spring Boot cloud-ready patterns) to deliver scalable backend capabilities.
• Implement event-driven integrations using Kafka (topics, producers consumers) to enable reliable asynchronous processing across services.
• Build and maintain full-stack features (UIAPI layers) and integrate with downstream services APIs as required.
• Apply multithreading concurrency concepts where needed for performance, throughput, and responsiveness in backend processing (e.g., scheduled jobs high-volume flows). Design and optimize persistence data access using MongoDB and RDBMS (SQLPLSQL), including query optimization and schema-level considerations.
• Enable strong observability and troubleshooting by leveraging centralized logging monitoring practices and tools such as ELK and related platforms.
• Support CICD and deployment readiness by working with containerized microservices ecosystems (e.g., Docker OpenShift patterns used in similar Citi programs).
• Participate in production support and engineering excellence analyzing alerts, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing fixes to maintain stability.

Expectation from Role:
• Expected to design and build scalable Java 11 microservices and full stack features, leveraging multithreading and Kafka-based event streaming to deliver high performance, resilient solutions.
• Responsible for implementing data access and persistence using MongoDB and SQLPLSQL, while ensuring production readiness through centralized logging observability (ELK) and strong troubleshooting practices.
