Job Specifications

James Adams is currently looking for an experienced C# Developer. This is a 6 month contract inside IR35 paying £350 per day. This is working 2 days onsite in East Midlands.

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented developer to work across the full lifecycle of enterprise software solutions that have a direct impact on business operations. You will be involved from gathering requirements to designing, building, testing, and supporting critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Design

Gather, analyse, and document requirements in a structured way.
Design, develop, and maintain key applications and software components following secure and standardised development lifecycles.
Test and troubleshoot software to ensure systems are stable and reliable.
Maintain clear documentation for all developments.
Provide accurate estimates for development efforts and project timelines.
Follow established change management procedures to ensure safe updates.

Service Management & Administration

Maintain and administer applications to meet operational needs.
Deliver technical support, identify root causes, and implement improvements to increase service reliability.
Work closely with business stakeholders to address issues and provide feedback on requests.
Plan and execute complex system changes, assessing potential risks to infrastructure.

Skills and Experience

Essential

Strong experience programming in C#.
Practical experience building web applications with Razor or Blazor frameworks.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript and CSS.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps workflows and practices.
Good overall understanding of IT systems, software architecture, and development processes.

Desirable

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Graph API integration.
Hands-on experience with PowerApps and creating business applications.
Knowledge of data visualisation using Power BI.
Exposure to Microsoft reporting and ETL tools, such as SSRS and SSIS.
