Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team to foster a culture of excellence.
Take end-to-end technical responsibility for software systems and ensure alignment with organizational standards.
Contribute significantly to hands-on development, including coding, feature implementation, and bug fixes.
Design scalable, maintainable systems and architectures in collaboration with the portfolio architect.
Translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions through active collaboration with business analysts.
Oversee code quality through thorough reviews and the implementation of stringent quality assurance processes.
Lead the resolution of complex technical issues by providing expert troubleshooting and support.

Requirements

You have 8+ years experience in backend development using .NET Core, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET Web API.
You bring 3+ years experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Azure Service Bus.
You possess 3+ years experience with frontend development using Blazor.
You have strong knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and GIT version control.
You're proficient in software security practices including OWASP, OAuth, and OpenID.
You have a solid understanding of unit testing, design patterns, and architectural best practices.
You're able to work at least 2 days per week onsite in Brussels.
You possess strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor other developers and mediate technical disputes.
You are fluent in French or Dutch (C2 level) with a good knowledge (B2 level) of the other national language and a very good level of English (C1 level).

Nice to Haves

Experience with server management and infrastructure configuration changes.
Familiarity with performance optimization and regular system assessment.
