Job Title: Business Analyst – Trading (Oil & Gas / Energy)

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid – Onsite 4 Days/Week)

Experience: 3+ Years

Job Description:

We are looking for a Business Analyst with Trading Futures experience in Oil & Gas or Energy Trading. The ideal candidate should have strong data analysis, SQL/PL-SQL skills, and Credit Risk knowledge, along with the ability to work closely with trading teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with trading desks and IT teams to analyze and document business requirements.
Explain trading workflows and trades to technology teams and stakeholders.
Perform data analysis using SQL / PL-SQL and support reporting needs.
Support Credit Risk analysis and trading data validation.
Collaborate with global teams to deliver technology solutions for trading platforms.
Manage stakeholder communication and support project delivery.

Required Skills:

Experience as a Business Analyst in Oil & Gas / Energy Trading Futures (Financial Trading Futures also considered).
Strong knowledge of Credit Risk concepts in trading markets.
Hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
Background in Data Analysis / Data Analyst role.
Experience working with trading systems and financial trade data.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of Data Warehousing and System Integration.
Experience in Credit Risk technology implementations.
Experience working with global or remote teams.
