We're partnering with a specialist healthcare consultancy that delivers complex digital transformation programmes across the NHS, particularly in large-scale electronic patient record (EPR) environments.
With a growing pipeline of EPIC implementations, they're expanding their permanent Data Migration team. This isn't a one-off project hire, it's a chance to join a core team that supports multiple programmes nationally and helps shape best practice for future deployments.
You'll work alongside experienced consultants to migrate and validate healthcare data, ensuring it's accurate, secure, and ready for new EPR systems. Full training and mentorship are provided, making this a great opportunity for graduates looking to launch a career in data consulting and healthcare technology.
Responsibilities
Support healthcare data migration projects, moving data from Legacy systems to EPR platforms or archive systems
Assist in developing and running data migration scripts and ETL processes (extract, transform, load)
Validate and test migrated data for accuracy, completeness, and reliability
Investigate and help resolve data discrepancies or migration issues
Work with project managers, technical teams, and clinical stakeholders to understand data requirements
Document migration processes and provide progress updates throughout projects
Skills
Degree in Computer Science, IT, Health Informatics or similar
Basic knowledge of databases or SQL
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Interest in data, technology, and healthcare systems
Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative team
