Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Compensation: $65/hr on W2 | $70/hr on C2C

Work Authorization: Open to all visas (No visa restrictions)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and build automation for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and a solid background in build engineering, scripting, and hybrid cloud environments. This role will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient deployment processes.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Support build and release processes for Java and/or .NET applications
Manage source control using Git, including branching and merge strategies
Automate infrastructure and deployment tasks using scripting languages
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize build and release pipelines
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve DevOps practices
Support and maintain applications in hybrid cloud environments

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in Build Engineering, DevOps, or CI/CD
5+ years of strong, hands-on Azure DevOps experience (required)
Expertise with Java and/or .NET build systems
Strong proficiency in Git and branching strategies
Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python
Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Azure cloud services
Familiarity with infrastructure automation and configuration management
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
