Position Summary...
What you'll do...The (USA) Software Engineer II will develop, configure, and maintain high-quality, robust software components while adhering to established coding standards and security policies. This role involves collaborating on code reviews, debugging, and continuous integration to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The engineer will apply knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, and testing methodologies to support development and maintenance activities. They will contribute to process improvements, documentation, and automation efforts, supporting project milestones and delivering solutions aligned with business needs and technical requirements.
About the team:
The team leads integrated supply chain planning by delivering forecasting solutions for short- and long-term operations. It focuses on capacity planning and forecasting across multiple nodes to ensure operational efficiency. Leveraging expertise in data engineering, big data analytics, and advanced data integration, the team builds scalable data pipelines and models that enable informed decision-making. Collaborating with stakeholders, the team transforms complex challenges into data-driven solutions, fostering continuous improvement within a structured data governance framework. This approach ensures reliable, high-quality outcomes aligned with organizational objectives.
What you'll do:
Develop, configure, and maintain high-quality, robust code for software components following established coding standards and guidelines.
Participate in code reviews to ensure reusability, maintainability, and adherence to security policies.
Create and execute test cases to identify defects and support quality assurance efforts using relevant automation tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and implement solutions aligned with business needs.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to optimize system reliability and availability.
Support continuous integration and deployment processes to streamline software delivery and maintenance.
What you'll bring:
Proficiency in object-oriented programming and experience with languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze requirements and develop robust, maintainable code.
Familiarity with coding standards, code review processes, and secure software development lifecycle practices.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automation tools.
Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, debugging techniques, and test case development.
Ability to document code effectively and maintain program development records.
Understanding of telemetry, application monitoring, and performance troubleshooting under guidance.
