As an intern at Ware Malcomb, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals. You will develop practical skills in a collaborative environment supported by structured training and dedicated mentorship. As a valued team member, your curiosity, creativity, and technical knowledge will contribute to real-world projects and your professional growth.
Interns will support the studio in the development of site planning concepts through design, research, and documentation efforts, depending on expertise and knowledge.
This is a paid internship for Summer 2026.
Your Role
Assist with gathering and organizing site information such as surveys, zoning data, and existing conditions.
Help prepare preliminary site layout sketches, parking counts, and planning diagrams under supervision.
Support the team in reviewing site constraints including access, topography, and environmental factors.
Update drawings and project documents to keep information accurate and well‑organized.
Participate in team coordination by helping share and track information across planning, architecture, and engineering groups.
Qualifications
Interns must be currently enrolled in their 3rd or 4th year of an accredited architecture or design program
Revit and AutoCAD knowledge
Prior internship experience preferred

The compensation range is $18-22/hr, plus benefits. Life at Ware Malcomb
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, licensing, project specialty/complexity and work location. At Ware Malcomb, certain roles are bonus eligible.
