Job Specifications

5+ years hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including configuration and technical implementation within enterprise environments
3+ years of ServiceNow ITOM experience, specifically focused on Service Mapping and Discovery
Proven experience designing, building, and validating Application Service Maps in complex enterprise environments
Strong understanding and practical use of Common Service Data Model (CSDM 4.0 / 5.0) including Application Services and Business Application relationships
Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Service Mapping patterns using Pattern Designer
Experience working with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) to maintain accurate configuration data
Ability to troubleshoot service mapping failures related to credentials, network connectivity, firewall constraints, discovery patterns, and CMDB data quality issues
Working knowledge of infrastructure discovery protocols and networking fundamentals (WMI, SSH, SNMP, TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers such as F5)
Experience collaborating with application, infrastructure, and network teams to validate dependencies and map end-to-end application services
Experience working in large enterprise or government environments with legacy systems and partially documented applications
