Summary Description:

We are seeking a Senior Manager – Vulnerability Management to lead and evolve the enterprise vulnerability management capability within Security Operations. The role will focus on driving strategy, improving vulnerability identification and remediation processes, and leading a global team responsible for reducing security risk across the organisation’s technology landscape.

Requirements Description:

The Senior Manager – Vulnerability Management will work closely with stakeholders across Group Security and the wider business to develop and enforce the strategy and vision for end-to-end vulnerability management. The role is responsible for driving continuous improvement in vulnerability assessment, prioritisation, remediation, and reporting processes while ensuring alignment with business objectives and security frameworks.

Tasks Description:

Lead the day-to-day operations of the vulnerability management team
Design and implement scalable vulnerability management processes across global environments
Oversee vulnerability assessment, vulnerability hunting, research, and risk management activities
Develop metrics and reporting to support executive and system owner briefings
Monitor vulnerability trends and measure operational performance
Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, operating companies, and external vendors
Identify gaps in processes, tooling, and results and drive improvements
Mentor and develop security professionals across the team
Manage hiring, training, performance management, and team development
Ensure documentation, workflows, and operational processes remain up to date

Essential Skills / Experience Description:

7+ years of experience in Cyber Security or Information Security
5+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management
Background in penetration testing or offensive security
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, ports, protocols, traffic flow, and OSI model
Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and risk prioritisation methodologies
Knowledge of cloud technologies and CI/CD environments
Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, CIS Controls, and PCI DSS
Strong leadership and people management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive leadership

Desirable Skills / Additional Information Description:

Experience working in large enterprise or federated organisations
Background in telecommunications or managed services environments
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CPP
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication capabilities
