We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 2nd to August 1st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. About Our Corporate Communications Team

The Corporate Communications Team at Shiseido Americas is responsible for developing and executing regional external and internal communications strategies to support Shiseido Americas' key business objectives. On an internal basis, the team develops comprehensive communications suites supporting company news, policy updates, change management projects, and C-suite messaging. We also work cross-functionally with Shiseido Americas’ brands and functions on key communications initiatives.

Externally, we work with media partners, industry organizations and others to drive thought leadership, disseminate company news and protect and preserve the company’s public image.

As part of our wider ecosystem, we drive employee engagement through year-round, community-focused people-first programming, oversee corporate partnerships, social media, sponsorships and philanthropy, and manage The Beauty of Helping Others, Shiseido Americas’ employee-driven social impact program.

What You’ll Do

Author articles to support the ongoing development of Shiseido Americas’ internal messaging calendar and platforms including regional intranet.
Assist with the planning and execution of internal events and company experiences.
Assist with the development of Shiseido Americas’ annual Employee Recognition Program.
Assist with the strategic planning and development of content for corporate social media platforms.
Assist with the planning of initiatives related to Shiseido Americas’ social impact program The Beauty of Helping Others, as needed.
Create reports/recaps on department's initiatives including corporate announcements, media coverage, and events.

Requirements

Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree
Communications major preferred
Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
