Data Product Manager / Senior Data Product Manager / Head of Data Product Management

Overview

Our FinTech client is scaling its Data capability as part of a major multi-year transformation. At the centre of this is the build-out of a modern Data Platform and Data Marketplace on Snowflake and AWS, designed to support system modernisation, domain ownership, and long-term growth.

The organisation has experienced significant demand for its data services and is now establishing multiple Data Product Squads to support both transformation and ongoing operations.

It is a product leadership position operating across platform evolution, integration, and structured data enablement.

The Role

You will work within a growing Data Product structure, partnering closely with Data engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to shape and deliver scalable data capabilities.

The role is multfaceted but a Product purist role, shaping the Product roadmap and strategy, managing the back long, triaging issues and outputs and really ensuring successful delivery.

As part of the wider transformation, the organisation is migrating core systems — including a move from a legacy CRM to Salesforce — and ensuring these platforms integrate effectively into the Snowflake-based data ecosystem.

Your focus will be on:

Data Product management and domain ownership
Data Product Roadmap shaping and delivery
System integration and data migration
Shaping Data semantics and semantic layer
Scalable, well-governed data products

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the data product backlog and roadmap for your domain
Act as the primary interface between Data and platform engineering teams and a range of business stakeholders
Support integration of new enterprise systems, including Salesforce, into the data platform
Oversee data flows into Snowflake and ensure alignment with architectural standards
Define and evolve structured data domains within the marketplace
Manage demand intake (“front door”), triage priorities, and align delivery to strategic goals
Balance short-term operational needs with long-term platform objectives
Ensure clarity around data definitions, ownership, modelling, and standards
Understand technical debt and architectural layers to support informed product decisions
Navigate complex stakeholder discussions and manage expectations across multiple workstreams

Experience Required

Strong Experience as a Data Product Manager, Head of Data Products, Lead Data Product Owner,
Strong understanding of modern cloud data products / platforms
Good knowledge of Data Semantics
Experience working closely with data engineers and platform teams
Exposure to enterprise system integration or migration programmes (Salesforce experience beneficial but not essential)
Understanding of data modelling, domain design, and structured data products
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced FinTech environment
Strong stakeholder management and roadmap ownership experience
