We're seeking a highly experienced Visualisation Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade dashboards that power real-time decision-making across a major international airline group.
This role requires consultancy-level frontend engineering expertise, balancing rapid delivery with robust, production-grade standards. Solutions must be designed for scalability and reuse across multiple operating companies within a complex enterprise environment.
Please note this role operates in a hybrid model with candidates expected to be able and willing to work from our customer's London office three times per week.
Required Experience:
10+ years in enterprise frontend engineering in AI/data environments
Expertise in Tableau and/or Power BI for rapid prototyping and stakeholder engagement
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred); familiarity with scalable deployment and integration
Strong knowledge of API integration
Proven experience in developing, testing, and deploying robust frontend solutions into production environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability beyond proof-of-concept or prototype stages
Significant experience in similar roles, with a proven ability to integrate quickly into new teams and deliver immediate value
Key responsibilities & duties include:
Rapid prototyping: Design and build visually compelling, intuitive Tableau dashboards to meet urgent business needs
Robust engineering: Architect and build production-grade, reusable dashboard solutions using modern frontend technologies, integrating with enterprise APIs and data sources
Scalability & performance: Ensure solutions are modular, performant, and scalable across operating companies, with CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native deployment
Operational integration: Embed visualisations into operational workflows, enabling real-time decision-making and measurable impact
Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Analysts to ensure cohesive solutions deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions
Multi-OpCo deployment: Design for interoperability and reusability across multiple operating companies within the group
Stakeholder engagement: Translate business requirements into impactful visual experiences; drive adoption and continuous improvement
Desirable Experience:
Track record of delivering high-value products in large, complex organizations, ideally FTSE-100 Group enterprises or similar
Deep hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Typescript, etc.)
Strong stakeholder engagement and solution-oriented mindset
Experience in advisory or consulting roles for engineering projects
Track record of creating high-impact outcomes and driving stakeholder satisfaction from day one
Ability to implement standards and frameworks for scalable visualisations across multiple operating companies
Familiarity with airline or logistics data domains is a plus
