Senior IT Managed Services Project Manager (RFP & Vendor Selection)

Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior IT Managed Services Project Manager on behalf of our client in Jersey City, NJ.
We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead the end-to-end development and execution of a large-scale RFP for enterprise IT Managed Services. This role requires deep expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), ITIL frameworks, ServiceNow integrations, vendor evaluation, and enterprise outsourcing transitions.
This is a high-visibility role requiring strong executive communication, structured governance, and the ability to drive complex stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
RFP Strategy & Development
Lead the development of a comprehensive RFP for enterprise IT managed services.
Define scope across service towers including Service Desk, End-User Computing, Infrastructure (Server & Storage), Database Management, and CMDB governance.
Develop SLA frameworks, KPIs, reporting structures, escalation procedures, and service credit models.
Define ServiceNow integration, data migration, reporting, and optimization requirements.
Establish vendor qualification criteria, evaluation methodology, and pricing frameworks.
Stakeholder Engagement
Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate cross-functional workshops.
Collaborate with IT, Operations, Finance, and Executive leadership teams.
Present RFP drafts and secure executive approval.
Vendor Evaluation & Selection
Develop evaluation matrices and scoring methodologies.
Coordinate vendor communications, Q&A sessions, and proposal reviews.
Facilitate vendor presentations and demonstrations.
Support technical due diligence and negotiation strategy.
Prepare executive-ready recommendation documentation.
Governance & Reporting
Maintain project timeline, risks, and milestones.
Provide weekly status reporting and steering committee updates.
Ensure structured documentation and compliance throughout the RFP lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Project Management experience in enterprise IT environments.
Proven experience developing RFPs for IT Managed Services.
Strong understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM).
Experience with ServiceNow platform and managed services integration.
PMP or equivalent certification.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, or similar).
ITIL certification.
Experience leading enterprise IT outsourcing or transition initiatives.
Vendor management and contract negotiation experience.
Background in IT infrastructure, operations, or service delivery.
Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
