Job Specifications

Excellent Financial Service firm seeks a Threat Detection Manager to join. This role combines people leadership, technical depth, and strategic oversight within a complex, enterprise-scale cybersecurity environment.

In this role you will be tasked with threat profiling, building out from scratch CI/CD detections as code using a repository like Git to store detection rules, rule base tuning, and helping to develop and create new use cases.

Role requirements:

Lead and develop a high-performing, globally distributed detection and automation team.
Oversee planning and prioritisation of work, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity roadmaps and business objectives.
Drive the development of new detection use cases and automated workflows to address emerging threats.
Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to standardise and streamline detection and automation deployments.
Establish proactive monitoring frameworks that strengthen incident detection and response capabilities.

I am keen to speak to those with a background in Threat Detection Engineering and are looking for a supportive/collaborative team.

This role is 3 days a week in Surrey, with a base of up to £100,000 plus bonus + excellent benefits.
