Job Specifications

As a Security Data Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, cybersecurity research, advanced analytics, and software development.

You’ll build data products, develop AI‑driven security solutions, create custom detections, and support rapid response efforts to emerging threats.

You’ll partner with data scientists, security specialists, and engineers across the globe — shaping the future of cybersecurity innovation.

What You’ll Do

Data Engineering & Cloud Platforms

Build and optimise cloud-scale data pipelines and curated datasets.
Support data ingestion infrastructure and Cybersecurity cloud workspaces.

Cybersecurity Analytics & Engineering

Develop AI/ML models, detections, and automations to identify and mitigate threats.
Build custom security applications, APIs, and data-driven services.
Enhance monitoring, threat hunting, and response capabilities with data and advanced analytics.

R&D & Innovation

Prototype new technologies and advanced analytics approaches.
Explore emerging AI, automation, and security capabilities to stay ahead of adversaries.

Rapid Response

Support urgent investigations involving new threats or vulnerabilities.

What You Bring

We’re looking for people with experience (or strong learning ambition) in some of the following:

Data & Cloud Skills

Cloud engineering (Azure preferred)
Big data technologies (Databricks, Spark)
Python programming
Real-time analytics & scalable data pipelines

Cybersecurity Skills

Knowledge of areas such as cloud security, intrusion detection, malware analysis, vulnerability assessment, or incident response
Understanding of threat landscapes, adversary techniques, and cyber risk management

AI/ML & Analytics Skills

Experience building models, analytics pipelines, or security automations
Familiarity with security telemetry (EDR, firewall logs, proxy logs, vulnerability data)
Data modelling and visualisation (Power BI, Databricks)

Most importantly, you’re curious, collaborative, and motivated to innovate in Cybersecurity.
