About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sophis C++ Developer / Consultant to support front-office trading, risk, and post-trade operations within Capital Markets. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Sophis/Fusion Invest platform customization, integration, and performance optimization.

You will work closely with Traders, Quants, Risk, and Operations teams to enhance trading workflows, pricing models, and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and configure solutions on the Sophis
Develop custom pricing models, trade booking workflows, and risk reports
Implement enhancements using Sophis Toolkit & SAFE
Build and maintain integrations with market data, risk systems, accounting platforms, and OMS
Support onboarding of new financial products
Perform system upgrades, performance tuning, and technical improvements
Provide Level 2/3 production support in live trading environments
Collaborate with Front Office stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Programming Languages (Mandatory)

C++ – Strong proficiency (Sophis customization and pricing logic)
SQL – Advanced queries (Oracle / SQL Server)
Python – Data processing, integration, automation
Shell scripting / Unix scripting – Batch jobs & automation

Additional Technologies (Preferred)

Java (for integration layers or middleware)
REST APIs / Web services integration
Messaging systems (Kafka / MQ)
Linux/Unix environments

Business & Financial Knowledge

Strong understanding of:
Equity derivatives
Options & swaps
Fixed income instruments
Structured products
Knowledge of:
Trade lifecycle
Risk reporting
P&L explain
Market data feeds

Nice to Have

Experience in Front Office trading support
Exposure to Delta One or Equity Derivatives desks
Experience in platform migration (legacy to Fusion Invest)
Agile/Scrum environment experience

Soft Skills

Strong stakeholder management (Traders, Risk, IT)
Ability to work in high-pressure trading environments
Analytical and performance optimization mindset
