Job Title: Lead Azure Data Engineer - Data Migrations (SC Cleared)

Duration: 12-month contract

Location: Remote, UK Based

Clearance Required: Must be holding active, unelapsed security clearance (SC)

Role Overview

This role sits at the centre of a major Azure data migration programme. The Lead Azure Data Engineer will take full technical ownership of the data platform, leading migration delivery while shaping scalable, future-proof Azure data architecture.

The position requires a senior, hands-on engineer who can lead by example, make architectural decisions, and engage confidently with stakeholders across technology and the business.

Key Responsibilities

Strong hands-on Azure Data Factory development and migration experience
Proven team leadership and technical ownership
Experience designing scalable Azure data architectures (Synapse, Data Lake, SQL, Databricks)
Excellent stakeholder and delivery leadership skills

Desirable Experience

Microsoft Dynamics and or Power Platform exposure
