Position Title: Business Analyst

Location: Middletown, Connecticut (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

Employment Type: Contract (W2 Only)

Experience Required: 6+ Years

Role Overview-

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Healthcare and Behavioral Health to support initiatives within the Connecticut Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS). The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support system enhancements in a regulated government environment.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and document business and system requirements
Analyze current healthcare and behavioral health workflows
Collaborate with CJIS stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Support system enhancements and integration efforts
Facilitate meetings and stakeholder communications
Prepare functional documentation and reports
Support UAT planning and execution
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and CJIS standards
Provide ongoing analytical support and issue resolution

Required Qualifications

6+ years of Business Analyst experience
Strong background in Healthcare (mandatory)
Experience in Behavioral Health (mandatory)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in government or CJIS-related environments (preferred)
Ability to work in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite)
