Data Scientist – AI/ML W2 ONLY

Location: Onsite – Berkeley Heights, NJ

Employment Type: W2

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with strong expertise in AI/ML and hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models in a cloud environment to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, train, and deploy ML models using AWS SageMaker
Build end-to-end ML pipelines (data prep, feature engineering, model training, deployment)
Work with structured and unstructured datasets
Perform model validation, tuning, and performance optimization
Collaborate with engineering teams for production deployment
Monitor models in production and improve performance over time

Required Skills:

10+ years of experience in Data Science / AI/ML
Strong hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker
Expertise in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, ECR, CloudWatch)
Strong knowledge of ML algorithms, statistics, and data modeling
Experience building and deploying scalable ML solutions

Preferred:

Experience with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to NLP, deep learning, or LLMs
Financial services domain experience is a plus
