Overview :

The tester is responsible for the functional and technical testing of software (products), (web) applications and/or microservices, ensuring that they do not contain errors and that the user experience of the end product is as good as possible. The tester also looks at where it is useful to automate things.
The tester works in an Agile environment and is part of a self-managing team that is focused on delivering better and better applications by continuously optimizing.
Your task is to support the team by functionally and technically testing the stories they develop during the sprint.
In this way, you ensure that errors are prevented and that the end user gets the best user experience. You also help filter the issues that are registered from other sources. This relieves the other members of the team and brings out the quality of the logged issues.

Manuele testing
As a tester, you are responsible for developing test cases based on the stories provided. This is done in consultation with the team and in various technologies and projects.
You write out test cases
You carry out the test cases.
You monitor the continuity and stability of the end products.
You report the errors found and follow them up.
You prepare the test dates where necessary.
You manage and monitor the available test data.
Technical context: Jira, Sharepoint, Lambdatest, Office 365, SQL databases, ... Knowledge of this is necessary.
Automated testing
You will develop automated test cases for new applications/microservices.
You rework automated test cases when adapting existing applications.
You are able to set up and configure both cypress tests and newman/postman tests in a CI/CD pipeline
Technical context: Cucumber, Java, Selenium, cypress, newman/postman. Knowledge of this is a must.

It is important that there is sufficient information exchange within the team. We count on you for this. In this way, you can contribute to working more smoothly and efficiently within the team.
You have an eye for user-friendliness and understand what the customer wants. In that context, you also have an affinity with web/front development and microservices.
As a test analyst you are and stay up to date with the latest innovations in your field.
You analyse the possible risks and estimate the impact of the errors.
You discuss these risks and this impact with the scrum master and the analysts.
