Come join Lockheed's Advanced Strategic Programs. This group of diverse Engineers has a long history of supporting the Air Force Mission reaching back to the 1960's. Today's challenge is to support the modernization of the Minuteman Weapon System by crafting, building, testing and deploying new Reentry Systems and Ground Equipment that will enable the new system to perform for many years to come. This critical mission area must be done right, pass meticulous certifications and last for many years to come. If this challenge is for you, you belong in AFSP.

We're seeking a Systems Engineering Associate Manager within the Advanced Strategic Programs (ASP) mission area, supporting the Sentinel Systems Engineering team in King of Prussia, PA. The position will provide technical direction, planning, training and staffing support, in addition to the management of Requirements and Modeling Engineering resources for the Sentinel Program. Responsibilities include oversight and guidance of a Systems Engineering team, encompassing the entire System Engineering life cycle, from requirements and architecture development through weapons system delivery.
This position will require functional leadership and demonstrated LM Full Spectrum Leadership qualities.
Basic Qualifications:
Systems Engineering process knowledge or experience, and complete lifecycle experience with Engineering processes and reviews
Proficiency with Requirements development and management processes, principles, and tools (DOORS), including functional analysis, allocation, and verification
Proficiency with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, principles, and tools (SysML/Cameo)
Familiarity with Agile Scrum workflow patterns
Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
Engineering Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience with systems engineering related to missile systems or associated avionics
Experience with US Air Force Weapon Systems Programs
Ability to manage, mentor, train and empower a team in technical and leadership development
Ability to build strong relationships with program internal and external customers, lead multi-functional teams and build consensus among peers
Recognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques with demonstrated application to a wide range of complex problems and with experience training others in their application
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a high-demand, fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate
Active Top Secret Clearance
Security Clearance Statement:This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
